Jolly Christians
The February luncheon and meeting of the Jolly Christians will be held on Tuesday, February 14 in the Oyster Bar at R J’s Seafood & Steaks on South Main Street in Statesboro. This is a Dutch treat luncheon. Anyone 55 and over is invited to attend. Please be at RJ’s by 11:15 am. There will be games and prizes! The bus will not be available.
Monday Morning Bible Study
The Women’s Monday morning Bible Study will begin on February 20 at 9:30 am. We will work through David Platt’s “Survey of the Old Testament.” A study guide will be provided for you, but there are no books to purchase. Child care will be provided. We have a great time fellowshipping, building each other up and would love for you to join us!
Men’s Supper Club
The Men’s Supper Club will meet on Monday, February 20 at Bobby Newton’s pond house for Catfish Stew. Men of all ages are invited to attend. We will eat around 7:00 pm. For more information, contact the church office at 865-4165 ext. 300.
Mission Trips
A mission trip has been planned for March 11-17 to Tuscaloosa, Alabama. We will help with construction and debris removal. The cost for the Alabama trip is $50 per person. We also have a date for the Honduras Mission Trip: April 18-25. Save the Date
Awana Club end-of-the-year Fundraiser. Eat Lunch with us and help raise funds for the kids to have a wonderful end-of-the-year party. Sunday, March 25 in the Fellowship Hall. Lunch will be served at 11:15 am so the 8:30 am group can join in. You can eat-in or take-out. The Awana kids will be selling tickets starting March 11.
National Women’s Conference
The Gospel Coalition National Women’s Conference “Here is Our God: God’s Revelation of Himself in Scripture” will be held in Orlando, Florida from June 22-24. The cost is $229 which includes the conference fee and hotel stay. Early registration ends February 29. For more information, contact Kristina Roberts.
